 BUILD THE FOUNDATION 

(Jesus & the Word)

Prayer Focus:

Pray that Connection Church would be firmly built on Jesus Christ alone not personalities, programs, or preferences. Ask for a renewed hunger for God’s Word and a deeper devotion to prayer.

Scripture:

“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”  

1 Corinthians 3:11

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”   Psalm 127:1

Prayer Points:

• That Jesus would remain the center of everything we build in 2026
• That God would deepen our love for Scripture and prayer
• That our church would build with eternal priorities in mind
  
  

BUILD STRONG CONNECTIONS (Unity & Community)

Prayer Focus:

Pray for unity, authentic relationships, and biblical community. Ask God to strengthen relationships within small groups, teams, and families so no one walks alone.

Scripture:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship…”  Acts 2:42

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”  Psalm 133:1

Prayer Points:

• That Connection Church would be known for love and unity
• That small groups and ministry teams would flourish
• That broken relationships would be healed
  

 BUILD HEALTHY PEOPLE 

(Spiritual Growth and Discipleship)

Prayer Focus:

Pray for spiritual maturity across the church for new believers, growing disciples, and seasoned leaders. Pray for life-giving small groups, Bible studies, and intentional discipleship pathways.

Scripture:

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him.”  Colossians 2:6–7

“Let us grow in every way into Him who is the head—Christ.”  Ephesians 4:15

Prayer Points:

• That every person at Connection Church would grow spiritually
• That discipleship would be intentional and fruitful
• That spiritual apathy would be replaced with passion for God
  

BUILD THE NEXT GENERATION (Kids & Students)

Prayer Focus:

Pray for children, students, parents, and leaders serving the next generation. Ask God to raise up young people who know Jesus, love the church, and boldly live out their faith.

Scripture:

“One generation commends Your works to another.”  Psalm 145:4

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young…”  

1 Timothy 4:12

Prayer Points:

• That our kids and students would encounter Jesus personally
• That parents would be empowered as spiritual leaders at home
• That God would raise up future leaders, pastors, and missionaries
  
  

BUILD A MISSIONAL CHURCH (Outreach & Evangelism)

Prayer Focus:

Pray for boldness to share the Gospel locally and globally. Ask God to open doors for outreach, compassion ministries, and Kingdom impact beyond the church walls.

Scripture:

“Go and make disciples of all nations…”  Matthew 28:19

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”  Matthew 9:37–38

Prayer Points:

• That Connection Church would reach the lost and the hurting
• That every believer would live on mission
• That God would bring divine appointments and open hearts
  
  

BUILD GENEROUS FAITH 

(Kingdom Builders & Stewardship)

Prayer Focus:

Pray for obedient, joyful generosity as Connection Church. Ask God to provide resources to fund vision, missions, and ministry expansion in 2026.

Scripture:

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give…”  2 Corinthians 9:6–8

“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”           Matthew 6:21

Prayer Points:

• That God would stir faith-filled generosity
• That Kingdom Builders would fuel Kingdom impact
• That the church would steward resources with wisdom and integrity
  

BUILD FOR THE FUTURE 

(Vision, Leadership & 2026)

Prayer Focus:

Pray over the vision God has given for 2026, "BUILD". Pray for pastors, staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers to lead with humility, courage, and clarity.

Scripture:

“Write the vision; make it plain…”  Habakkuk 2:2

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.”  Philippians 1:6

Prayer Points:

• That God would clearly guide Connection Church into 2026
• That leaders would hear God and lead boldly
• That what we build would last for eternity
